Placing An Order
  • Click on the ‘Our Shop’ at the top of each page or select a category from the ‘Shop Categories’ menu in the left side column
  • Complete the drop down option boxes
  • Enter the quantity and click ‘Add to Basket’
  • To add additional items either click ‘Continue Shopping’ or select a category from the ‘Shop Categories’ menu in the left side column.
  • To complete your order select your postal delivery zone and click ‘Proceed to Checkout’
  • On the ‘Checkout’ page, please review your order and check the total amount is correct
  • Enter your billing address and confirm your delivery address.
  • Enter any instructions for the courier in the ‘Any Special Instructions’ box - this could include requests to deliver to a neighbour or where to leave box if not available (i.e. front porch
  • You need to agree to our Terms and Conditions before placing your order by clicking the box then click the ‘Continue’ button.
  • Review your order and click the ‘PayPal Pay Online’ to go directly to the PayPal site to complete your checkout process your order summary on the left of the page. If you have a PayPal account, simply sign in and proceed as usual. If you do not have a PayPal account or prefer not to use your existing PayPal account click ‘Don’t have a PayPal account’ and pay with your debit or credit card.
  • When the transaction is complete you will receive a confirmation email from PayPal, the transaction will appear on your card statement as PayPal ‘PerfectNightIn’. You will also receive an order confirmation email from us.
  • On the day your order is dispatched for overnight delivery we will send you a dispatch email.
  • We randomly select customers to receive an email approximately 10 days after delivery with a questionnaire for feedback on our products, delivery and service.

Our Shop website currently uses the PayPal Payment system to accept your MasterCard, Visa, or bank debit card. You do not have to be an existing customer of PayPal to checkout - if you do have an existing account, you will have the additional options of providing payment with your bank account or PayPal account balance. We are sorry but we do not accept cheques for online orders.

Packaging

Packaging

We are committed to sourcing packaging that is biodegradable, safe, and reusable. We encourage you to reuse our packaging but if not, please recycle it appropriately. Our packaging consists of the following:

  • Ice packs - Our ice packs are made from food-grade film and purified water - certified to be free from contaminants - They are 100% recyclable but we encourage you to reuse them!
  • Woolcool Envelopes - Our Woolcool envelopes are made using pure sheep wool insulation – which is compostable, in recyclable high-quality LDPE sleeves. As the Woolcool blankets will keep foods chilled below 5° for at least 24 hours, there are perfect for you to reuse for picnics or holiday travel.
  • Bubble wrap - Our bubble wrap is made from 100% Sancell-bio biodegradable film - perfect to reuse for shipping your own packages or storing fragile objects.
  • Polybags - Our polybags are made from corn-based polylactic acid - this simply means they are 100% biodegradable and safe to use with food contents.
  • Boxes/Shred - Our boxes/shred are made from recycled products and we encourage you to reuse or recycle all our cardboard products.

Delivery

Delivery

Our goal is to provide you with the finest quality chilled steaks and carvery joints and wines delivered in the best condition in environmentally-friendly packaging, ready to prepare on your scheduled delivery day. We use the national courier APC Overnight for all our deliveries to ensure premium service to your front door. All our orders are hand-packed by our service team to ensure every order is packaged and checked to our own high standards. Your order will be dispatched for overnight delivery and delivery details will be confirmed by email, usually within 24 hours of your order confirmation. Unfortunately it is not possible to stipulate a time for the day of your delivery - therefore, it is essential at the checkout process that you provide any special instructions for the courier should you be unavailable when the order is scheduled to be delivered. When ordering, you can arrange delivery to your workplace or to an alternative address if more convenient. Please be aware that your delivery could be affected by bank holidays, weather conditions, or other external forces. Order by 9am on Friday for delivery by 4pm for Tuesday; Order by 9am on Monday for delivery by 4pm on Thursday.

Delivery Charges

We currently deliver to Mainland UK. As next day delivery cannot be guaranteed for the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, and the Isle of Man, we are unable dispatch orders to these areas. Our current delivery charge is £9.99 for all package orders & from £5.00 for all meat only orders. The exact shipping charges are specified on each product page when ordering. For all orders over 20kg, an additional .35p/kg will apply. 1. Are my steaks/joint suitable for freezing?

Yes, you will recieve your steak/joint chilled - not frozen. We recommend you immediately refrigerate for use by the "use by" date on the label or freeze for future use for up to 3 months from the date received.

2. Can I specify a specific date other than the scheduled delivery dates?

4. What do I do if my order/box arrives damaged?

Please inspect the contents safely. If you believe the contents have been compromised in any way or there are safety concerns (i.e.broken glass), please do not consume any of the contents. If you have the ability to digitally photograph the damaged contents/box, we may ask you to also email photograph(s) for reference.

6. Can I place an order to send to a relative or friend?

Yes. During the checkout process, you will be asked to input your "billing address" - if this is not the delivery address, uncheck the box and the "delivery address" form will appear. Input the recipient's information for delivery. The order and the delivery confirmation emails will be sent to your email address. At this time, we can only process one delivery address per order. For multiple alternate delivery addresses, please contact us prior to placing the order so we can ensure we have the correct information to ensure efficient delivery of your orders.

7. Can I cancel or return an order?

Orders can only be cancelled or amended, in writing (ie email), prior to packing. Our deadlines for orders cancellations or changes to any orders are Monday 5pm for scheduled Wednesday deliveries and Wednesday 5pm for scheduled Friday deliveries. If you choose to cancel your order, you will recieve a confirmation email with payment refund details within 24 hours. If you choose to amend your order,it may result in your order being delayed for delivery. We will contact you with any revised delivery information within 24 hours.
