In addition, they also have menagerie of pets: Spotty Dog, several farm cats, Gloucester Old Spot pigs, chickens, and a horse. In 2006, Paul and Kirsty applied for and were offered a farm business tenancy with Gloucestershire County Council. After a rigorous selection process, they took on Gamage Hall Farm "with a wheelbarrow, an overdraft, and eight cows," says Paul. Since then, they have now expanded the farm from 103 to 170 acres and it keeps over 200 head of cattle. They still have the wheelbarrow and the overdraft! Paul and Kirsty are passionate about great beef and love the magical experience that comes from pairing the best beef in the world with wines that really match and enhance this wonderful British product. Their Aberdeen Angus beef has been featured on TV in “Jimmy's Food Factory” and “Matt and Allegra's Big Farm” and on Radio 4's “Farming Today” programme.
